Chapter 10 Discussion: Working in Teams 6 6 unread replies. 30 30 replies. From sports to school to work to civic involvement, working in teams is increasingly part of our experience. Even though teams are frequently used to get work done, people still have widely varying opinions of their value. Think of your own situation. When a professor divides the class into groups to complete a project, do you respond with an inward smile or a heavy sigh? Do you enjoy team projects, or would you rather just do your own work? What can be done to make teamwork productive and enjoyable? Share your thoughts and experiences. If you have not had work experience to date, consider instead a team, club, or organization in which you have been a participant. With all discussions, you are expected to make an initial posting (250-word minimum) AND then you must post a reply to at least one fellow classmate's posting (100-word minimum) by midnight of the due date. You get half of the points for each of these required postings. However, you are encouraged to reply to more than one classmate.
