Chapter 5 discusses diversity. Using the concepts in the chapter (and any other concepts from other chapters you feel fit to use), you will be required to 1) assess a workplace for diversity, and 2) design a diversity plan that the workplace could enact. Please either pick your current workplace, or a past workplaceso you have intimate knowledge of the environment. Please change all names people, companies, places and any other identifying information.

The document should have two distinct sections (i.e., one for the workplace assessment and one for the plan). Although bullet points maybe used, the majority of the document should be in paragraph form.

The document should be setup as if you are an outside consultant, giving a written report to the CEO of the company. As such, no citations are needed (you are the expert in the area!)they are not forbidden, but not necessary. That being said, be sure that your statements are factual and legitimate (dont simply suggest firing all the people of a certain demographic, as that would likely lead to quite a few law suites). The plan you present needs to be developed and viable. How will you measure the effectiveness of it? Will it happen overnight, will it happen in stages, etc.? Why are you taking certain steps?

Finally, you are required to include theories in the paper. For example: if you begin talking about how all the employees go bowling on Thursday nights, and the senior people make sure everyone is invited, you would literally put at the end of the sentence (CULTURE; INCLUSION)
