For this assignment, you will work as a group to create a shirt for a particular audience that aims to satisfy a need this audience has. Your shirt will need to address a social issue that impacts your community. Bonus if you can identify an issue which can be fixed on BSUs campus. Now, how serious an issue you wish to address is up to you and your group. You may be creative with your product so that your product stands out; however, in your creativity, be thoughtful about what special features, styles, or enhancements your product will have that will meet the needs of your audience better than products like it that may already exist.

Address the following questions about your audience and purpose. Use paragraphs and headings versus numbers to respond to each question. Use MS Word to prepare your document.
Provide some background information about your product. How did you come up with the product idea? What is the name of your product?
Who is the intended primary audience for your product? Be specific about your audience. Avoid saying things like, BSU students or women for example. Narrow your audience down to capture the demographics clearly Caribbean women, living in rural Maryland Is there a secondary or tertiary audience for this product? Why are they the auxiliary audiences for this product?
Why does your audience need this product? What need does this product aim to fill for this population?
What are the characteristics of your audience? Are there any other professional or personal characteristics that you should consider as you develop your product? What cultural variables or characteristics are you mindful of as it relates to this audience? Avoid the default, there are no professional or personal characteristics or cultural variables. Think about your audience deeply. Refer back to your textbook if you are not sure what this ismeans
What are your readers attitudes and expectations regarding this product? How much knowledge, experience, or technical skills do they have? How will they respond to this product Apprehensive Eager? Hostile? Etc. In other words, imagine if you were developing a new type of smartphone, how will your audience respond to yet another new smartphone on the market?
