(Pg. 138) Leadership requires you to constantly adapt and change to the conditions around you. Focusing too much on the small pieces of the larger picture can be counterproductive to the goals you are trying to achieve. Like members of the task force, we often were told that we are not working hard or fast enough to be successful, but this is not the case. If our system is broken, working faster is not going to solve the problems. As a leader, you must focus on the entire organization as a whole and how to fix the root of the issue. Like the task force, to be an effective leader you must learn to shift your focus as necessary to prevent and resolve problems within your organization. what to respond to this person
