Chapter 8- Group Characteristics:

Groups and teams can be described using three characteristics:

1. dependent is the extent to which one member's task and responsibilities are linked to those of other members
2. accountability involves who is responsible for the task and related outcomes
3. time is the duration member spend to together completing task and responsibilities
