1. (5 points) Which of the six reasons for control are needed in this situation? Make your case as to why you chose the one(s) that you chose. In other words, make reference to these reasons by paraphrasing the case study.

2. (10 points) What levels and areas of control were ineffectively used by Chipotle? Thoroughly explain.

3. (15 points) You will create a Balanced Score Card for Chipotle. Create a least one objective, one standard, one measurement, and one strategy for each traditional category of the score card.

Consider using SMART goals from Chapter 5 as Standards to assess performance in the four categories of your score card. Standards are called Targets in the example I provided on the next page. (Please note: there are four traditional categories of a balanced score card, as explained in the chapter.)

As I mentioned in the instructions, Increasing Revenues is not a Financial Perspective. Do not use this as your financial perspective.
