Taking the Evaluation efforts to the Next Level
The headcount to goal has tremendously helped Metal Technologies when evaluating the number of candidates applying for a position compared to the number of people we need to hire. One effort that we evaluated was turning the Indeed Quick Apply feature on. This has greatly increased applicant flow for our general labor positions. In addition, when our headcount to goal decreased, we boosted our open positions on Indeed. This helped us maintain and for some positions reach more applicants. The strategy was effective in gaining more applicant flow, but not as effective at targeting candidates with manufacturing experience. While Metal Technologies has a greater number of applicants, it does take a little longer for applicants to move through the hiring process.
