Climatic Data analysisThe U$.$S$.$ National Climatic Data Center$($NCDC$)$ records $($among other physical quan$-$tities of interest$)$ temperatures hourly at closeto $10,000$ stations nationwide $($as of July$2011).$ For each station it publishes hourlytemperatures averaged over a period of $30$years.
