Code is made in Lego EV3 Classroom(the version with Scratch block code). Wall has a few small turns and a 90 degree turn. Must use an ultrasonic sensor and may use a gyro sensor.
The challenge for this lab is to write a program that will: 1. From a defined starting point: 2. Start a timer 3. Drive forward, following the wall to the robot's right a. The full body of the robot must always stay on the marked path (between 12 and 42 centimeters from the wall) 4. After 15 seconds (or when you reach the end wall), stop the robot 5. Stop the timer 6. Display the timer for 10 seconds 7. Mark your distance with your team number. Rules: You get three (3) attempts at a timed run, you have unlimited practice runs (practice runs cannot be used for distance) 1. Once you start the program you cannot touch the robot, or the run is disqualified. 2. If your robot touches an object your run is disqualified 3. If your robot goes off the path (any part of the robot is outside the taped lines) your run disqualified 4. If the time displayed is incorrect the penalty is -15 seconds Grading: 1. Target Distance = 900 cm
