COM Public Speaking
Pls make a formal preparation outline base on my paragraph
Here my paragraph:
Everyone has someone they admire and want to be like someday and everyone has different opinions and who is the real hero. My hero is my mother, Phuong. She is the person I love most in the world because she was always there when I needed her most and I don't know where I would be today without her. She has blessed me with a wonderful life and I am forever grateful for all she has done for me. No one can compare with my mother. She is the most caring, loving and sincere person I know and that is why she is my hero.
When I think of a hero, I think of someone who is brave, strong, hardworking, reliable, and unselfish. Someone who can protect you and make life better; My mother has all of those qualities. My mother was raised by two wonderful parents and had a very good life growing up. She lives in a small town called Vietnam town, she is a cheerleader, and has graduated from Forbush High School. After graduating from high school, she attended college at Western Carolina University for four years and majored in Education and then went on to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to earn a master's degree in Administrative Education. My mother had a job during college and worked hard to get good grades and have money to spend. She worked very hard and did whatever it took to make her dreams come true. She always told me college was the best years of her life and enjoy your youth while you can.
A hero to me is someone who is always there for you no matter what; They will always be there for you even when times get tough. My mom never left me, and I know she will always be there for me whether I'm sad and crying or I'm celebrating a new achievement in my life. I have never met a selfless person like her. She always puts me first and does everything she can to be the best mother and give me the best life. Tolerating for me is not easy. I am erratic, stubborn, sometimes I think I know it all. My mother and I don't have a perfect relationship. We argue and disagree about many things, but no matter how much we argue, we always make up at the end of the day because we both know we can't live without each other.
One of my mother's great traits was that she was very strong. Last October my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. When she told me the news, I completely lost it. All these thoughts started running through my head about how difficult this would be and how bad the outcome could be, but then I started thinking about how strong she is and how she will be. overcome this and beat the cancer. In December, my mother had surgery to remove the cancer and everything turned out great; they removed all the cancerous masses. We are all very thankful and lucky that the surgery went so well. She has just started radiation therapy and is halfway through. She really makes cancer look so easy. The fact that my mother survived breast cancer makes her even more of a hero to me than before. She is fearless and has always known that she will overcome this difficulty in her life and that God has a plan.
My mother is my hero not only for what she gives and gives back to me but to others she is a wonderful wife, mother and friend. All the qualities she has as a person that I hope I can one day be just like her. She made me feel like the most important person in the world, because I knew she would do anything for me in a heartbeat if I needed it or got hurt. Words cannot even describe the love I have for my mother, and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful mother. She always taught me to love myself and be proud of who I am. My mom always said that you should do whatever makes you happy and be the best person you can be. She's my hero for more than a few reasons. She's been with me for 17 years now and I know there's more to come. Nothing can compare to the impact she has made in my life. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without her.
