Hello everyone, For today's discussion I chose a video of The organic chemistry tutor explaining how to simplify and divide radical expressions. He gave this example: V50x = 125 = 5 2x In this example he divides 50 by 2 and results in 25. x divided by x equals 1. Furthermore explains that square root of 25 is 5 and that is the final result. Another example he gave is: 27a 3a3 In this example he explains that we need to find the cube root of each of them. Cube root of 27 is 3. Cube root of a^9 is a^3. Cube root of 8 is 2 and cube root of b^6 is 2. The final result is expressed above. Reference: YouTube. (2018, January 26). Dividing radical expressions with variables and exponents. YouTube.
