Company Data for Regression Analysis

Hi Class, please read Chapter 14 or anything about Simple Linear Regression Analysis and submit here:

  1. A data set of two variables that you think are related to each other, i.e., one variable depends on the other or in other words, one variable increases/decreases as the other variable likewise increases/decreases (but not exactly proportionate). At least 15 data points, preferably related to one's work. But if too hard to get something related to work or business, then a personal interest will do. For example, grab/taxi fare which varies depending on the distance travelled. This means that I should see 15 distances with corresponding grab/taxi fare.
  2. MS Excel Regression Toolkit Outputs: (a) Summary Output, (b) Residuals, (c) Standard Residuals, (d) Residual Plot, (e) Line Fit Plot, and (f) Normal Probability Plot. Note that in above-stated example, the distance is the X variable and the grab/taxi fare is the Y variable (i.e., Y depends on X).

Then, be ready to discuss your data and outputs on Session 13.
