1. With current industry trends, what are your thoughts and the direction for a typical enterprise in the next 2-3 years related to cloud-based technologies?

2. What things, if any, still make sense for an organization to host itself in its own data centers and why.

3. Why are organizations still hesitant to adopt cloud-based technologies, and what are ways to move forward with those reservations in mind?

4. Commonly referenced when discussing strategically implementing a program or technology is people, process, and technology, and each relates to potential items of concern that need to be addressed when going to cloud technologies.

5. Some say with the cloud, all of the policies and standards stay the same; the implementation is just different. What is your opinion on this topic, and is this as straightforward as the first sentence?

6. A big trend when going to the cloud is the concept of staying cloud agnostic. Is it possible to have a true multi-cloud or single-cloud strategy that is instantly portable to another provider? What benefits and disadvantages does this bring?

7. Another big trend is the idea to stay cloud-native, utilizing only provider components and deviating away from hosting IaaS solutions (databases, compute, etc.) on its own and relying on the provider in every circumstance they have an offering. From an architectural perspective, what do you believe and elaborate on the idea of what capabilities/functionality are and how it factors into your decision (or does not) and why?
