For satisfactory performance, learner's response must refer to legislation that includes requirements that will help the learner resolve problems effectively when completing a work task. Requirements can include: Duties/responsibilities Steps/actions Guidelines Relevant legislation can include: Fair Work Act 2009 Anti-discrimination laws applicable to learner's state/territory Learner's response can refer to federal or state/territory-specific legislation. Legislation must be applicable to learner's response in the Your State/Territorysection of the workbook. Legislation accessed must be the most current during the time of assessment.
Requirements: Learner must outline all requirements they must follow when resolving or managing workplace problems. For satisfactory performance, learner's responses must correspond to provisions in the identified legislation. Provisions refer to statements or clauses in the legislation containing duties/responsibilities, steps, actions and/or guidelines that can help the learner resolve problems effectively when completing a work task. Provisions can include information on: How to conduct consultations to seek solutions to workplace problems What kind of solution can be provided to team members? How the solution will be carried out by the learner For example, if the learner's identified legislation is the Fair Work Act 2009, their responses can refer to provisions in applicable sections under Chapter 3 Part 3-1 Divisions 3 and 5 of the legislation, which includes general protections for employees such as against adverse actions. Legislation accessed must be the most current during the learner's assessment period.
