Amazon strategically utilizes information systems across multiple aspects of its operations. Some examples of this is AWS and Simple Storage Service (SS) that serve as the primary information systems where the company manages its databases. These two allow Amazon to effectively coordinate all of the processes inside of the company for a greater end user experience. So what do I mean specifically when I say "coordinate all processes?" Well, utilizing these systems enables the company to do things like: Optimize Data management Efficiently tracking Inventory Streamlining logistics Personalizing end user (customer) experience And much more! Lastly, Amazon's systems use something called Artificial Intelligence (AI). This helps Amazon suggest things you as the customer might like, guess how much of something you will need, and make everything work better and faster. So, when you use Amazon, it feels smoother and more helpful because of these smart tricks they use! This directly aligns with both Amazons mission statement and vision statement
