4GB byte-addressable memory Using the memory modules provided by Logisim, decoders and multiplexers to build a 4GB byte-addressable memory system. The designed memory system can perform reading and writing a byte, a half word and a word operations. The control unit should provide the control signals to read/write a byte, a half word or a word based on the opcode (lb, lh, lw, sb, sh, sw).
