Concept of Operations (CONOPS) is a high-level overarching description for the employment of UAS in performing mission objectives. As presented in the Readings and Resources section, numerous elements define the "S" in UAS, depending on the job it's employed to do.

Select a job (real or imagined) that a large UAS does or could do. Develop a CONOPS that provides a short description. Generate a simple graphic identifying all the elements of the "S" in UAS for that job. At a minimum, your CONOPS should include the UAS, ground station, communications (satellite, if applicable), and any ground or air support necessary, and identify where the human in the loop is.
