consider that you are working for a resort developer who is considering two different resort investments (one in a great location with limited offerings OR one with great offerings but in a location with limited accessibility) by addressing which is more important for a successful resort: location (geography, proximity, accessibility, etc.) OR offering (amenities, activities, services, etc.). Consider the learning objectives for the module, as well as the projections for the future on page 8 and the lessons learned from history on pages 8 and 9. Incorporate the classifications, characterizations and features that add to a resort's success in your posts.

REMEMBER that these assignments are graded on your ability to demonstrate your knowledge of and ability to incorporate what you've learned in the course, first and foremost.

Make the recommendation showing me what you've learned from the course and provide a statement of impact (i.e., if you do this.....then, you can expect this....). Statements of impact are best derived from real life situations, so do some desk top research, use the library's resources, or use the free student subscription to Hotel Management magazine to find an example of a real life situation that benefited from location or offering.

Here is how your submission is scored:

25 points - student submission includes a definitive recommendation for location OR offering, supported by demonstrated learning built on the course content and learning objectives, as well as a support from a real life example backed up by a corporate press release, news story, personal interview/interaction, or textbook example.

2 points are deducted for each of the following:

lack of a definitive recommendation knowledged from the course work is not demonstrated learning objectives are not applied real life support not provided (link or reference to resource should be included)
