Consider the $100,000 you invested in 3 stocks in Homework 3: Building a Portfolio. It's time to evaluate your portfolio's performance. For each stock in your portfolio, answer the following questions: 1. What is the current price of the stock? Amazon (AMZN)- $182.56 USD Apple (AAPL)- $170.55 USD Lululemon (LULU)- $377 USD 2. Did the stock pay a dividend since the last assignment? If so, how much was the dividend per share? AMZN has not paid a dividend within the past 12 months. AAPL has not paid a dividend since the last assignment (3/01), their last dividend payment was 2/15/2024 LULU has not paid a dividend since the last assignment. 3. Considering both capital gains/losses and dividends, what is the current value of your investment? What was your percent return on this investment? Amazon current value-$182.56 is the current value of my investment and 2.44% is my percent return on my investment. Apple current value-$170.55 is my current value of my investment and 5.07% is my percent return on my investment. Lululemon current value-$377 is my current value of my investment and -17.78% is my percent return on my investment. 4. What factors do you think caused the stock to go up or down in value? I think amazon increased due to strong earnings, expansion and innovation, and the market dominance they have. I think apple decreased due to a slow in sales and an increase in their competition. I think lululemon decreased due to a miss in meeting the company's expectations and goals, supply chain disruptions, and more competition as well. 5. Using one-year of daily returns calculate the volatility and beta of the stock. What does this information tell you about the stock's risk profile? (Note: Please submit your calculations. I want to see how you calculated your results, not just the final answer.) 6. If you knew the stock's volatility and beta prior to the previous assignment, would you still have invested in this stock? Why or why not? 7. What did you learn from these assignments?
