1. Population 2020 Census. How much has it grown or declined since the 2010 Census? 42,946 was the 2020 population and it was 46,639 in 2010. That is a decrease in population over a 10-year period of 3,693 or -7.92%.
2. Owner-occupied housing unit rate. How does this percentage compare to the United States percentage? 65.9% in Richmond County, NC and 64.4% in the U.S. This would indicate that Richmond County, NC only slightly has more owner-occupied housing than the country as a whole.
