1- Build a simple spring-mass 1 DOF system (the springs can be from up or down) by adding a water tank as stated in the figure. This tank is used to provide the possibility of adding/draining water during the operation for changing the system mass from m to (m+ mass of the added water) to change the system's natural frequency. 2- You are free to choose the dimensions, system's parameters, pipes and whatever parts you like to add, to control the system mass to avoid resonance (by changing the mass and then the system's natural frequency).
