Course project:

1. To complete this project, you are asked to form a team of 5 members. 2. Reading material: Course of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Strategy in your text book. 3. Together, think of starting a small business of your choice, with not more than 10 employees including yourselves. Choose one member as the CEO of the company. 4. Prepare a report about your startup covering the following: Step One 1. Your startup Brand Name & Main Function, your logo, slogan 2. State your organizations Mission and vision statements. 3. The source of your business idea (from a trend/ a problem / a need, etc). 4. Perform a SWOT Matrix for your new-venture clarifying the major strengths, possible weaknesses, external threats, and available external opportunities for this start-up 5. Present the formal structure of your business that shows the task/ responsibility of each member of the team. An organizational structure should be presented at the end of this Part. 6. Present your profile as an Entrepreneur (your education, your knowledge, your skills, your experience, your talents, your background, etc. and perform a matching process between your profile and your position in the organization. Step two: Your Startup requires a business plan, thus: 1. Develop your Marketing analysis in which you state your market research results , present your concept statement and describe your value proposition. 2. Perform your financial feasibility analysis including your budget, your expenses/cost and your estimated revenue over one year. 3. Make your own business model using the canvas model template. Remarque: Each step should be presented as a PowerPoint presentation in the class according to the deadlines and instructions given by the instructor. Structure and format of The report: 1. Your report must have a cover page specifying your: o Course Code and Title o Course project Title o Name and STD Number Report Submission Date 2. First an introduction to your report (Short, brief and up to the point) clarifying 3. the aim and main objectives of the report. 4. Page one must be an Executive Summary and include: - Company name - Logo & Slogan - Mission Statement & vision statement - Product/service (clear explanation of what it is and how it works)
