1. Create a composite score5. Create an average composite score for each dimension and save as new variables in your dataset. You will have a new variable to represent each factor. If you are using SPSS do this by going to "transform, compute variable". Remember to use scientific notation if creating the numeric expression yourself (need parentheses around the addition part).
