Create a conceptual data model with entities: CLASS, COURSE, DEPART- MENT, STUDENT, and PROFESSOR.

We will use the above entities and additional entities ROOM and BUILDING to create an implementable model using Crows Foot notation. In addition, we are going to create an abstract entity called ENROLL to convert the many-to-many relationship between CLASS and STUDENT to one-to-many relationships, i.e., ENROLL is a bridge entity.

Before drawing a diagram: 1) For each entity (except ENROLL), write down a primary key.

2) For ENROLL, use the combination of primary keys of STUDENT and CLASS as its primary key. 3) For each entity, assign at least three attributes that are not used in the primary key.

Draw an entity relationship model diagram. Make sure the diagram satisfies the following conditions:

All primary keys are labeled. All foreign keys are labeled. All required attributes are indicated; you may use check mark instead of boldface. Relationship names are shown. Cardinality symbols are used. Strong and weak relationships between entities are indicated.
