Create a lesson using one of this week's topics $($exponents$,$ order of operations,

integers, real numbers$).$ Use the three$-$part lesson format with the before, during,

and after phases of the lesson plan $($pp$.49-55).$

Assignment Guidelines

Revisit the lesson plan format the text uses in the examples on pages $76-77($Van de

Walle, $2013).$ Include CCLS$,$ lesson goals$/$learning objectives, materials, before,

during and after phases, accommodations and$/$or modifications, and assessment.

Reflect on the lesson and what adjustments you might make. If you are unable to do

the lesson with students, discuss how you would anticipate the lesson proceeding

from start to finish.
