Good communication is also needed in other situations as well. I also think that being fair is important as well. It shows that everyone has the same expectation regardless of who they know in the company. If a leader shows favoritism, then it could cause morale to lower, and the team would not be motivated. Both of these traits are important because they also both show that the leader respects the employees and values them as a part of the team
