Create a text file using a resource called the HTML Kit Tools, found in the VDI environment. Please go into the VDI and use the software from there. If you have any issues ask you instructor for help.
Once you have chosen your business, you need to “flesh it out” by making:
A name for your business. Think of this as something that would eventually go in the header of the home page of the website for your business.
A short “mission statement” for your business, perhaps including a short “back story” as well, telling how your business got started. Think of this as something a visitor might find under the “About Us” link on your site.
A short list of some of your products and/or services, which will eventually be made available for purchase online.
A short descriptive paragraph or list of phrases designed to catch the attention of potential customers. Think of this as something that might eventually appear as part of the main content area of the home page for your business.
Complete all of these components and then enter them into a text file called “my_business.txt”. Make sure that the file content is well organized from a conceptual point of view, and pay particular attention to spelling and grammar.
For Part I, you created a simple text file called “my_business.txt” containing some basic facts about your chosen business. That file should contain the name of your business, its mission statement, a list of some of its products and/or services, and perhaps a catchy slogan or two.
