Create a tool in Excel that will use an input flowrate to calculate the upstream and downstream velocity in

a pipe that has a change in diameter. The workbook will need to be able to handle both Imperial and

Metric units, this can be done with a dropdown box, a macro, different units on different worksheets, or

other ways. Please note that different unit systems will have different conversions so it may be more

complicated than just re$-$using the same equations. Pay close attention to the required units for inputs

and outputs.

Provide the user the ability to input the following $($Imperial units, Metric units$)$:

Flowrate $($Q$)($GPM$,$ LPM$).$

Upstream and Downstream pipe diameters $(D_1,D_2)($in$,$ mm$)$

Your calculator should then output:

Upstream and Downstream velocity $(v_1,v_2)(f\frac{t}{s},\frac{m}{s}).$
