Creating, Saving, and Opening a Workbook

In Microsoft Excel, the file that you open, edit, and save is a workbook. Each workbook contains worksheets, which are comparable to pages in a Word document. A worksheet is also referred to as a spreadsheet or a sheet, and you can use these terms interchangeably. This text also uses the terms $$workbook$$ and $$file$$ interchangeably.
