Reference a sample creative brief template from the textbook or the topics covered in this week’s materials. Ensure that the creative brief is 1-2 pages. It is important for a brief to present the key insights yet be clear and concise.

• Ensured that the creative brief addressed the needs of the client and is in line with the communication objectives that were defined
• Ensured that the creative brief incorporated information on the target market and market research from previous weeks.
• Expresses the brand positioning
• Established the tone that should be used throughout the IMC campaign
• Ensured that the creative brief included all components required by the creative team and followed the format provided in examples

Since these are not existing brands, students can be creative when developing the brand positioning, however, positioning should be based on category or competitive insights.
