CYBR $2500.$ Final Project $-$ SOHO network design for RFP

Using what you have learned this semester plus referring to your book and notes, design your fantasy network. Label all devices. This includes everything from the ISP link to all machines and devices including Operating Systems, firmware levels, rules, etc.

Using APA format, submit a single Final Project document with cover page to include:

A Title Page

A Table of Contents

An Executive summary $($why is this being designed$)$

A design $($diagram$)$ of the network with all devices labeled.

A legend listing the devices number in the diagram

A detailed specification for each device and where to order

A configuration section detailing what configuration information for each device

An embedded spreadsheet listing a Summary tab for device types and totals along with a grand total. The sub totals should be linked to support tabs listed as: Desktops, Laptops, Network equipment, and Software$).$ The support tabs should list each device type, single quantity price, quantity, and line total.

A written justification in paragraph form justifying why you choose each device type.

Remember to include all IP addresses, device Models numbers, capacity, speeds, firmware levels, any ACLs, any rules, OS versions, bit$-$type, applications, wire types, etc. The biggest issue for any student is leaving out the firewall protocols and rules.

Your network must support and documents minimally the following:

Network devices for access

Support for both wired and wireless

An MS$-$Windows desktop

A Linux desktop

A Macintosh desktop

A tablet

A cellphone

A printer

A laptop

An extra switch

Reminder that all Details must be documented $-$ that means everything! Diagram must be electronic and not hand drawn. There are some excellent diagramming programs listed on the Tools link on the LMS$.$
