APA FORMATTING felt a bit foreign to me at the beginning of this degree, as it had been >6 years since the time I was last in school and regularly used APA. However, with practice over the past four courses, I have refreshed my APA formatting knowledge and grown much more comfortable with writing and citing sources in APA formatting (7^thEdition).

The APA Writing Checklist has been a useful tool in reminding me about APA formatting when completing writing each paper. I have also found thePublication manual of the American Psychological Association, seventh edition to be a useful tool, as well (American Psychological Association, n.d.). However, the resource that I have utilized most frequently over the past eight months has been through the Grand Canyon University library website. The Grand Canyon University's Library pages, including the Citing Sources in APA 7^thEdition page, have been saved as a favorite bookmark on my home screen and utilized for nearly every assignment (Grand Canyon University, n.d.).

I am a visual learner, so I find that the most helpful method to assist me with ensuring correct formatting was to have a quick, easily accessible resource with ample examples of correct formatting for all types of references. After multiple months, I find that the challenges in APA formatting no longer lie in citing textbooks or journal articles, as I have cited these frequently, but in different or unique resources that I do not reference as frequently, such as websites, etc. For these scenarios, the numerous examples on the Citing Sources in APA 7^thEdition page have been extremely helpful for me. I feel grateful that Grand Canyon University has such helpful resource through their library for students.
