Deep down inside, Joe knew that this idea for a service to Miami could prove to be an

excellent growth opportunity for Air Syracuse. However, he needed more than simply a

hunch to convince the president that this would be a viable option for the company. At

the minimum, he would need to provide some information about the profitability of the

service, and a description of how this service would operate, especially with respect to

the seat protection levels and overbooking issues.
