Kyle has been using illicit substances since he was in middle school. His current drug of choice is heroin. Kyle is currently homeless. His ex$-$wife has let him stay at her place off and on over the past few years. However, she is fearful of Kyle now after she attempted to flush his drugs down the toilet. Nolan hit his ex$-$wife multiple times before she gave him the drugs back. He has attempted recovery on multiple occasions. At times, kyle states that he wants to kick his habit. However, he has been spending more and more time at the apartment of a known drug dealer in central Maine. Kyles treatment team is ready to refer him out to an out$-$of$-$state residential facility. However, Kyle insurance $($or lack thereof$)$ does not cover out of state treatment. Kyle wishes he could reunify with his ex$-$wife and have more contact with his teenage daughter. Kyle has shared with providers that he was molested by a school coach through most of his middle school years
