Description THIS PROJECT IS OPTIONAL. Only those that would like to earn a 4 should do this. In this project, you will create and use three different probability distributions. In order to do this, you will have to collect (or find) quantitative data for one variable and categorical data with only two categories. You may use data collected in Lab 1 or data collected from your previous projects, if you choose. Once you have collected the data, you will do the following and then create a presentation or video (no more than 5 minutes) to present your work: 1. Using your categorical data: Determine the proportion of "successes" - choose a category to be the success. Using part a, create a situation in which you would use a geometric probability distribution. Using part b, create a situation in which you would use a binomial distribution. 2. Using your quantitative data: Determine the mean and standard deviation. Using the mean and standard deviation, sketch the Normal Distribution that would "model" your population. (Note: technically, since this is a sample...you would need to use a sampling distribution...but...we'll just go with this for now).
