There will be group of four students, and you could use what you have in the four kits to design one
project. It would require controlling of lights at both ends of the construction
allowing 30 second intervals for each direction. The interval for the busy side should be extended if no
cars are presented in the opposing direction. If a car is presented in the opposing direction the controller
will either complete its current 30 second cycle or wait 10 seconds before changing in an extended time.
The cars should be counted in and out, so the road is guaranteed to be void of cars before changing
direction.
The lights should be dimmed at night to save power and protect drivers' vision.
An amber signal should be flashing at a 1 Km distance from each end of the construction site. Please write a code on Arduino in C. Using 4 lights (2 amber lights and 2 traffic lights). Include all instructions in the code!!
