Use any design you like, so long as the complexity is greater than CRD – two factors, or a factor plus a block, at minimum. Emphasis should be on control of variation and consideration of design criteria, and you will be evaluated on how well you thought through the possible sources of uncontrolled variation, your interpretation of your final analysis, and checking of assumptions.
