Though the New Jersey Department of Health has been working diligently on such regulations in the time since the bill being signed into law, the recent developments of COVID-19 and the scarcity of essential resources have required the department's full attention. In light of these recent events and in recognition of the importance of the issues regarding MAID, the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health has asked the brilliant minds at your University to continue to develop the regulations required to implement the MAID program.
