1. Identify an area of focus in need of improvement - the selected area should be chosen based on data and evidence
2. Explain your chosen focus along with the data or evidence analysis supporting the need for improvement
3. Consider our texts' definitions/descriptions of the process of continuous school improvement
4. Develop a preliminary action plan for including your team (the colleagues you work closely with, which could be your grade level team or your content area team) in the process of continuous school improvement for the area of chosen focus; explain what you will do, when, and how; the plan should follow a continuous school improvement cycle as defined by either or both of our texts - include text citations to support your plan
5. Present your plan in a one-page description/outline
6. Seek the approval of your school principal or your supervisor to carry out a mini-action plan focused on the improvement of your selected focus; ensure your principal/supervisor gives permission to include colleagues in your action plan for improvement.
