Determine if there is a budget cycle at Nova Southeastern University (is it annual, quarterly, multi-year), what calendar is it based on (calendar or fiscal year)? If a college experiences a significant decline in enrollment, what is the impact on the budget? How should administrators deal with budget shortfalls (i.e., raise tuition, layoff non-essential staff, close ineffective programs, look for alternative funding, etc.)?
