1. Develop a concept map that focuses on DATA.
2. Now that you know a bit more about concept maps, use shapes, words and connecting lines/arrows that describe and explain how each of the major course concepts relate to each other and data in general. Include all 14 weeks of topics and related concepts.
3. Be sure to provide written description along those lines and arrows to describe the relationship between these concepts. Feel free to write sentences or small paragraphs next to them as examples.
4. Some modules have several sub-topics that we explored and are worthy of being in your diagram. Add other nodes and sub-topics as you feel are needed. New connector arrows and lines will visually describe how these new points (or nodes) relate to each other. This will be a spider-web approach to the diagram as opposed to a waterfall . Do not focus on one topic or idea as you want to encompass most or all of the course concepts.
5. Along with the map, provide a brief explanation (approx. 250-400 words) of your rationale and the logic used in the map creation. Your explanation will outline your thought process in how you approached the map, and discuss some of the important links. Tell me how it all works together. It is not meant to verbally describe the physical look of the map.
