DEVELOP A CSR INITIATIVE PLAN FOR Petron Malaysia - Oil Company:

Before you start developing a proposal of a companys CSR Initiative Plan, consider 2 things:

A. Identify the strengths and gaps What is aim(s) the CSR initiatives?

How did the CSR initiatives benefit the stakeholders? What were the outcomes or impact of the CSR/Sustainability initiatives?

What sustainability development goals (SDGs) were incorporated? Was the CSR initiatives/programmes self-sustaining (able to fund itself)? If yes, how?

B. Enhance/improve on your existing plan or propose a new plan From what you have learnt about the companys CSR/Sustainability initiatives, think about: how the present CSR initiatives (if any) can be enhanced or improved? Include your rationale.

What other CSR initiatives can the company carry out? Include your rationale. In (a) or/and (b) consider the sustainability principles or the Triple Bottom Line and incorporate at least two of the 17 SDGs that we have learnt.

A. Project Title

B. Area(s) of the company CSR Identify the Company's CSR key areas based on the Triple Bottom Line. Eg. for People it could be society, customer, employees and shareholders, while planet could be environment conservation.

C. Project Relevance and Need Describe what your project is addressing (You could select one or two SDGs that are closely related from the list of 17 SDGs to be incorporate in your project.) Describe why it is important to carry out this work. Support your description with appropriate evidence. Describe how your project complements or adds to other similar existing initiatives carried out by the company.

D. Project Description Provide a brief description of the proposed project. State the objective(s) or aim(s) of the project. What key activities will the company undertake in this project? Describe the target audience for the project (For example, They are a group of underprivileged students that are from the lower income family group or employees of the company or single mothers looking for jobs.) What is the estimated duration of the project? What is the estimated budget to run this project?

E. Sustainability Plan How will this project be self-sustaining? How can this project fund itself eventually or in the long run? F. Expected Results What are the expected short term (1-2 years) and long term (3+ years) results of this project?
