Develop a scenario as a research process for design of research which should be based on the post secondary students. It should not include online classes and fitness camp. You should develop something different and answer the following questions to perform a research process.
PARTI Part 1. Q1: Introduction 2. Introduce the reader to your business idea and what they can expect to discover in this paper, Part 1. 02: The Question Hierarchy a. As a team-decide on and state your new management dilemma and your main research question (Dilemma: Our business is doing badly. Question: Should we start getting into XXX instead of abs?) b. what information is still missing? What do you need to find out? Come up at least 5 good investigative questions 1 c. Using those 5 questions, briefly explain how you would measure them using observational research methods (measurement questions at least 2 per investigative questions - 10 measurement questions total) Part 1. Q3 Research Design Now that you know which questions you'd like answered, how will you gather the information? You will be conducting Systematic Observational Research. a. Describe what or whom you hope to observe and how you will go about getting that data. b. Will you be watching people, looking for patterns, flipping through magazines, digging into feedback comments? There are many ways to gather information, which will help you best get the information you need? You may choose one or several methods. Where will you conduct the observation 3. Over which period of time 4. Level on interaction and concealment 5. Collection of facts, inferences or both 6. Any other information that you think would help the reader understand your methodology Part 1. Q4. The Research tool - first draft. a. Based on your responses above from Q1-Q3, create an observation checklist. The observation checklist should include a space for the observer's name, the start and end time and date, the precise location, standard codes, and a column for notes. No two observational checklists are the same. You may include maps if you are tracing location, colour codes, word abbreviations, or other. Place the Research Tool sample as an Appendix to the document (remember Appendices appear after References) For additional context, see Exhibit CU-1 Sample Checklist on page 165 of the textbook 0 o Additional Guidance Example: I am wanting to offer secure bike parking in the Exchange District of Winnipeg. Observation: I can observe how and where they lock their bikes, what type of lock vs type of bike. If I am observing who is a typical cyclist in the Exchange District - I can create a code for gender, type of bike, business attire vs spandex vs casual, are they carrying gear or bags, did they wear a helmet, is it an e-bike, recreational bike or road bike, did they seem fit or frail, young or old, etc.). PART II Part 2. 01. Sampling Design a. Define what qualifies as a Case (participant, activity, record, object, event, action, incidence). It is a good idea to qualify what will be included and/or excluded (Ex: I saw the same person lock up their bike in two different places-do I count them twice?) b. Will you use probability sampling (records, videos, photos, etc) or non probability - which type in particular? Justify your choice. I c. Will you be conducting Event sampling or Time Sampling?
