In addition, for cost/ efficiency reasons, some back-office activities of the Bank are also outsourced to specialist service providers. The Branch mainly focuses on sales and other front-office activities, with a team for basic customer services and collections.

1. As the Audit Manager of a Bank, you need to develop and present a detailed scope document for auditing the Corporate Sales team which provides corporate loans and trade finance products to large and mid-sized corporates (global, regional and local) and SMEs. The scope document should give due consideration to the risks envisaged in the activity under review.
2. As the Audit Manager of a Branch of a Global Retail Bank, develop and present a detailed scope document for auditing the front office and customer services activity. The scope document should give due consideration to the risks envisaged in the activity under review.
3. You have been assigned to a team investigating allegations of impropriety (including potential bribery & corruption related misconduct) in connection with the procurement of a technology platform (focusing on digital document signing and document retention) of a mid-tier bank in which you worked as an Internal Audit Manager. The investigation primarily centers around the technology and procurement functions of the bank.
