Develop the EE-R Model and draw the EE-R diagram

Online Travel Services such as Expedia.com provides several services to its customers. Services to consider are booking Flights, Stays, and Cars. Booking a flight consists of specifying the ticket whether it is a Round trip, One-way, or multi-city. Customers need to also identify which city/airport he/she wants to depart from and to which city he/she is going to along with the departing and returning dates and the class of the ticket (Economy, Business or First class). A search is then performed and a list of flights by different airlines is presented showing the departure and arrival time for the first leg of the journey, the duration in hrs, the cost, etc.

Customer has then to select a flight (outbound and inbound if it is a return, outbound if a one way and multiple cities/airports with departing dates for each leg). Then the customer identifies the no of Travelers, their names, gender, and nationality etc. And then the customer must pay using a credit card, PayPal, etc. and then a travel itinerary (as shown below) is generated with all the information necessary.

Similar activities are required for booking a stay or car. Stays could be for a single, double room or a suite in a hotel such as Sheraton, Hilton, etc. Cars are of different types such as small, medium, SUV.

To get all theses services the customer has to register providing customer name (first and last), email address, and credit card information, login id and password.

Before you start the analysis please visit expedia.com or any online travel services, and study how the three services mentioned above are performed. Then start PART 1, etc. You can also make any realistic assumptions and business rules that you would need to generate the proper EE-R model which would lead to the proper logical design and implementation.
