DFD Active Learning Exercise

Sinai Gourmet Hot Sauce$*,$ founded in $2011$ and based in Montreal, is a gourmet hot sauce

manufacturer and distributor. The owner's mission is to deliver a unique and high$-$quality

product. Administrative activities and delivery are presently carried out at the owner's and

the only employee's individual home offices$**.$

When Sinai Gourmet receives an order from a customer, the employee immediately verifies

the availability of the requested product by referring to his memory for an estimate of the

available inventory. If the customer's order can be filled right away he immediately records

the order details. When he has time, he refers to the stored order and texts the owner

requesting his verification of the customer.

If$,$ on the other hand, the order cannot be filled, the employee immediately suggests an

alternative product that is closest to the requested one by referring to his memory once again.

Model the narrative using a DFD$.$ Make sure each DFD outline is labeled and numbered

using proper syntax
