DIRECTIONS

Part $1$: Circle Time Plan and Implementation

Each student will complete a planning form for a music experience for young children.

The plan must be complete and dear to the reader.

A list of songs and how they would be implemented must be included in the plan.

$($There needs to be more than just the song that you will present$)$

Include all the words to all of the songs used in the plan on an attached piece of paper.

The plan will reflect the entire circle time experience, not just teaching the new song.

The student will decide the number of songs included on the plan.

The plan must reflect one developmental outcome from ELECT Document.

Part $2$: Song Presentation

Each student will present a new song to the class $($not one that has already been demonstrated in class$).$

The student will lead the class as they would young children.

To avoid any duplication the song used in the presentation must be approved prior to the presentation date

Students are responsible for making a typed copy of the presented song for each student in the class on the day of the presentation. Please securely attach the song to a $35$ index file card with an appropriate colour lure on the back.

Part $3$: Music Resource File

Student will develop a resource file of appropriate songs and finger plays for preschool children.

The file must include all songs presented in class by the other students

The file must be categorised and organized for easy use with children., flormat is understood, use of pictures as lures, durable. leg ble etc$)$
