The change management process is one that we have been applying to our everyday lives, in some form or another, whether we realize it or not. Every big life decision that we have made so far, or will make in the future, will undergo some measure of planning, implementation, and monitoring.
For this assignment, you will reflect on a big change that you have gone through in your past and relate it to the change management process. Examples of changes could be moving to Canada, finding an apartment, getting married, choosing a college program, or any other change you have experienced.
Rationale: This assignment will evaluate the following course learning outcomes:
Explain IT governance best practices and deliverables based on their purpose and appropriate applications.
Apply industry best practices for IT governance to develop IT strategies and assess performance.
Analyze IT governance challenges to identify their possible causes and recommend appropriate actions according to industry best practices.
Directions: Begin the assignment with a brief description of the change being discussed. Then for each of the 3 phases, consider:
