As a manager it is part of your job to understand the terms and conditions of any contracts you may have with suppliers and or contractors so that you do not breach the contract. You also need to know what the consequences are if there is a breach of the terms and conditions. When dealing with suppliers and contractors it is always a good idea to do your 'Due Diligence' on them to ensure that they are doing the right thing as far as compliance and that they conduct themselves in a professional and legal way.
