The implementation of Movement Control Orders (MCO) resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). While some have temporarily closed their operations, others might have to cease their operation permanently. In response to that, in the recent 2022 budget, the Malaysia government has announced several incentives to help the SMEs to recover and build resilience except these,

 

-extension of the tax rebates for new MSMEs can get up to RM20K - enhance the SME Digitization Grant Scheme initiative - enable SMEs to obtain financial(under PEMULIH).

-agrofood facility - Business Recapitalisation Facility (BRF) - Low Carbon Transition Facility (LCTF)
